Tickets Nairobi-Mombasa train?

by Mange
(Sweden)

Hi

I am going to stay in Kenya for 2 weeks in October. How can I buy tickets for the train service Nairobi-Mombasa, is there any ticket office in Nairobi where I can buy tickets direct? Can I be sure to get tickets within only 3-4 days before the trip?

Best regards

Mange,

Thankyou for your question and I do hope you take time out to let the train take the strain. Its a wonderful journey and if you have time please read my article on this webiste which will help you.

If you would like your tickets pre-booked then please contact Peris at Premier Tours and she will arrange to book and deliver them to you on arrival in Kenya. [00254 720243102 or office 00254 512217344]

Tickets Nairobi-Mombasa train?
by: Tropic Tours & Travel

Dear Mange,

There is a ticketing office in Nairobi (Kenya Railways) where you can purchase the Nairobi - Mombasa tickets.

The train goes to Mombasa on Monday's, Wednesdays's & Friday's only. The tickets cost is around $50 per person oneway on 1st class and it includes dinner, beddings & breakfast.

Sometimes its very busy and early arrangements are advised.

Happy travels

Rgds

Peter.
