Government revenue in Kenya
by: Arjen (webmaster)

The revenue sources of the Kenyan government are roughly the same as everywhere else: taxes, tarrifs for specific services, levies for permits, etc.

Kenya has the income tax, corporate tax, value added tax, tourism tax (visa), etc.

You could find more information at the Kenyan ministry of Finance (www.treasury.go.ke), the Kenya Revenue Authority (www.kra.go.ke) or the Kenya Institute of Economic Affairs (www.ieakenya.or.ke). For university staff this should be a bit easier than for travel guide people ;-)
