Simmers staff are polite and welcoming. However, one of their staff (tall brown boy) cheated me on the changes. I paid to him 1000 shilling for 150 shilling beer, but he gave me a change of 50. I argued with him in vain. I discussed with his supervisor, but the Supervisor was though sympathised for me, but did nothing.
Please take care of your changes at Simmers.

I go to Simmers coz of the girls, live rhumba and its openness. However, the toilets without water - horrible and a big let-off.

I love the food, drink, music, atmosphere .. and don't care if the bathrooms are not "perfect" or there are some rough-cut characters included in the crowd! It is AFRICA .. and I LOVE it. Simmers is the BEST!

the hookers are dangrous if not carefull,NEVER,EVER leave your drink un-attended and if you do,dont touch it again coz it would most probably be spiked!!

Yes, there may be 'working girls' there in the evening, but not during the day time (at least not when I was there). Don't let that hold you back from visiting Simmers Restaurant, it's a great place, one of my favorites in Nairobi. If you don't like the working girls, just tell them so and they will leave you alone.
