We ate at the amazing Simmers restaurant.

It was so good, the service was on time and kind.

The food was excellent.

This is definitely the place to eat.

I go to simmers on a weekly basis, everthing else is fine but the waiters are thieves. I have come to make this conclusion. They are always looking forward to giving you less change. In more than 10 times i bought a soda, i was never given the right change-always had to ask. they do this especially for sodas. Soda is 70KShs but if you give them 100 kenian shillings they will never return 30. If you demand your right change they will be angry and quickly go back and bring you. that means they know what they are doing. They are thieves and i am dissapointed with them. Besides, they are rude and you have to call them to serve you. Many times they can decide not see you especially when you look like you know the prices well. Advice#: To the owner-address this fraud among your staff(it seems its well organized and involves the cashiers and managers on duty). Train your staff on customer care and relations (basic manners is lacking!) Advice#: Fellow patrons: Know the prices in advance and before the waiter leaves quickly confirm you have the right change(especially when buying sodas) go with small denomination or exact cash value, that way you wont be conned. last week one ran away with my 100/-. I called him but decided not to have seen me and then he vanished, changed and went home. This pure thuggery and lack of manners. Pardon my tone but i am frustrated with teh behavior. If you tell any supervisor nothing happens(i think they are part of the conspiracy) SHAME on the waiters but long live Simmers.

luv'd simmers, during a 2 month visit to kenya, we got addicted to simmers. the food, specifically the fish, and the service is to die for.
only one problem mr murunga, in 2009 u promised to upgrade those bathrooms -- that's the only let down at simmers -- they are a mess. we were there dec, 2010 thu feb 2011.

star 		Take care about your changes at Simmers

Simmers staff are polite and welcoming. However, one of their staff (tall brown boy) cheated me on the changes. I paid to him 1000 shilling for 150 shilling beer, but he gave me a change of 50. I argued with him in vain. I discussed with his supervisor, but the Supervisor was though sympathised for me, but did nothing.

Please take care of your changes at Simmers.

I go to Simmers coz of the girls, live rhumba and its openness. However, the toilets without water - horrible and a big let-off.

I love the food, drink, music, atmosphere .. and don't care if the bathrooms are not "perfect" or there are some rough-cut characters included in the crowd! It is AFRICA .. and I LOVE it. Simmers is the BEST!

the hookers are dangrous if not carefull,NEVER,EVER leave your drink un-attended and if you do,dont touch it again coz it would most probably be spiked!!

Yes, there may be 'working girls' there in the evening, but not during the day time (at least not when I was there). Don't let that hold you back from visiting Simmers Restaurant, it's a great place, one of my favorites in Nairobi. If you don't like the working girls, just tell them so and they will leave you alone.
