Restaurant in Nanyuki, Kenya

by James
(Nairobi, Kenya)

Hi everybody, I am looking for somebody so we can invest together and put up a restaurant in Nanyuki near Mount Kenya.

I did work sometime in Nanyuki and found out that there is a good tourism business but none is offering the best from Kenya -nyama choma- and you know the place, it's a bit cold and nyama choma will do good plus a coffee and tea shop and a few cottages.

The land there is not very expensive, you can get an acre at about 300,000 ksh, that's about 3,745.32 US dollars.

will be happy to hear from you.

Nanyuki Restaurant
by: Archie [Moderator]

James
My mouth is watering at the prospect already.
Wishing you success in your proposal.

Now if you can include more than nyama choma on your menu to warm the bones then let me be one of your first customers.

Ok I am opening this up to the world and asking for the best recipes....haha....Kenyan if you wish but anything goes.

My Kenyan favourites
Mkimo
Kuku
Talapia
Nyama Choma

For the cold weather a big pot of chicken broth [Soup] full of lentils, barley, carrots, chopped potatoes and greens.

Kind Regards

Archie

Interested
by: Emma

Hi James,
I am looking at investing in Nanyuki and am interested in moving to Kenya and need to be able to support myself to be able to get a residency permit. I love Nanyuki and would love to own or co-own a restaurant there as i have sampled whats on offer and i think i could definately add to whats there especially where tea is concerned. Would we be able to communicate and talk further about what type of investment you were thinking about. I just flew back last Friday from being in Nanyuki for 3 weeks doing some voluntary work at the children's home there. Please get in touch my e-mail is emma.alexander@ceridian.com

Thank you
Emma
