Pinklakeman, a great eco lodge north-west from Nairobi

There is lovely little place i visited a while back, so beautiful and extremely affordable... Pinklakeman Eco Lodge.

This little Kenyan paradise is located 127 km from Nairobi, along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway, about a km from the highway.

A place where you can kick back and relax, where there is the African feel. Especially if you into open space and plenty of fresh air, this is the place to be.

The place has wooden cottages surrounded by greenery, natural hot springs. So don't forget your swimming clothes if you want to enjoy these natural jacuzzis!

Lake Elementaita is close by, so the scenery is perfect. Go bird watching, hot air ballooning or just take a walk in the wild.

We went for a hike, so carry comfortable shoes if you want to do the same. A pullover too, it gets chilly in the evening. The best part was the jacuzzis, the natural hot springs. Amazing!

The rates are affordable, very affordable.
You get breakfast, dinner is usually African food... Nyama Choma... that's roast meat. They usually roast a whole goat for you on the spit - for an extra price though. Mouth watering!
Vegetarians are welcome, too.

If you are a party animal: carry your own alcohol.
Though they do lay out a bar if told in advance.

This place is perfect for the complete African experience. Check it out people! And relax, the place is very safe.

Simply breath taking!

This has been the greatest discovery of my life! Red wine & rose flower flavoured shisha inside a natural hot water spring gazing at the wonderful sky of shooting stars, with a distance choir of gazing cowbells!

One of the best experiences I've ever had !
by: Pat

Pinklakeman eco- lodge is without doubt one of the best experiences of my life! Compares to only Ubud Northern Bali and Jacos Island of East Timor in my list of fantastic experiences. The Sleeping Moran hills, the out -of - the - blues (or pinks) surprise early morning pink flamingo’s extravaganza across the beach and the unforgettable hot springs experience under the impossibly clear African stars... the list is really endless! There is wildlife everywhere day and night, birds and more birds.

Incredible but all there in one place
