Need visa for changing flights in Nairobi, Kenya?
I am not sure if you need a transit visum. I have tried to get the information from the website of www.kenya-airways.com
In the past I had travellers arriving in Kenya and then leaving by bus after some hours to Tanzania. Cause they left actually the airport they needed a transit visum. It might be possible that if you stay at the airport that you dont need a visum. But check on the website of Kenya Airways.
I will however ask someone in Kenya. Get back to you as soonest,
Thankyou for your question and I concur with the other replies.
Just enjoy the myriad of shops and take time for a cuppa before your next flight. Airside at Nairobi is kind of circular and you can find yourself developing a list as you try to find your next gate but be rest assured its simple. Happy travels

Need visa for changing flights in Nairobi, Kenya? by: Tropic Tours & Travel
Dear Chris,
As long as you will not be leaving the immigration then you do not require a Kenyan visa.

I can't imagine that you'd have to... by: Arjen (webmaster)
I can't imagine that you'd have to buy a visa just for changing flights. But in case you'd have to, it is a matter of lining up once you land and pay it in cash. You can get Kenyan shillings from the ATM at the airport before you get into line.
If anyone has more information, please add it here. :-)
