There are two major airlines that operate on this route i.e Airkenya Aviation & Safari Link Aviation. Both of them offer a baggage allowance of 15 kgs per person on soft bags.

Thanks for your mail and I agree with Arjen you should check with your carrier at Wilson Airport. I wondered if you already had your ticket as I think it may show on there your baggage weight allowance.
On further discussion with my colleague at work who had previously booked a flight from Mombasa to Masaai Mara it was apparent that a rucksack is the ideal on the way out but only packed with the minimum as the carriers have had experience of travellers returning with all sorts of arts/craftz/curios which bumps up the available weight allowance.

This basically depends on the carrier - there are several small domestic air companies active in Kenya that fly between Nairobi and the major parks like Masai Mara.

Maybe there's some standard baggage allowance that most small domestic carriers, however, maybe the other moderators know about this...
