Hair dryers
by: Anonymous

Hi Rebecca,
I live in Canada but I own a few salons in Uganda, I am planning to replace all the dryers shortly. Where would I purches good quality dryers in Kenya? Is there any company with a website that I can browse their products?
Your help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Abdul.

Hair Dryers
by: Archie [Moderator]

Rebecca,

Thanks for your question and John has answered it.

I seem to recall there were previous questions regarding hair dryers and one specific to being on safari. It seems to be a common question and can I hand over to Cassandra and ask how she managed on her recent trip to Nakuru?

Have a great trip

Archie

220 Volts of Elec.
by: John Lambert

Hi Rebecca,

Electricity in Kenya is 220 and the plugs are the same style as the UK.

For a hair dryer your best bet is to buy one with
a dual switch that will work with either 110 or 220.

You'll still need a plug adapter-check for that at Radio Shack. or online

John
