On this page, you can post your Kenya help request for everybody to read – or you can respond to requests for help posted by others.

Are you raising funds for a school or orphanage, looking for volunteers, or needing donations in kind for a charity? Then write a request and post it on this page with contact information, so that visitors of this site may be able to respond to your request.

Why Do I Offer The Opportunity To Post Requests?

On the page Donating to Kenya, I offered some thoughts for people wishing to donate to Kenyan charities or relief organizations, and named a organizations I knew are trustworthy.

Afterwards, I started receiving emails from people asking if I could post their request for donations or volunteers on my site as well. While I can’t post such requests myself, since it would seem I'm endorsing requests for donations while I'm unable to check their legitimacy, I do want to give everybody the opportunity to publish such requests themselves. It is up to the visitors of this site to respond to that.

These Are The Rules:

• Please only post requests for legitimate charity or non-profit purposes in Kenya.
• State your full name and your place and country of residence. And tell us a bit about yourself - it will lend credibility to your request.
• Describe your request well. Describe the situation, include arguments why to donate, include endorsements from others, include pictures, etc. Make your first paragraph a summary, like a newspaper article.
• One request per posting, please – if you have more requests, make separate posts.
• Always include a website or your email address – better do it like "YOURNAME at ADDRESS dot COM" to avoid spam - where people can get more information. Alternatively, you could also include your phone number or postal address.
• Your request will become a separate page on this site, and other people can comment on it. You can also actively invite people to comment on it (endorsements!), for example by emailing them the URL of that page. If you choose so, you can get an automatic email as soon as your page is up, mentioning the right URL. Your page will be automatically submitted to the search engines, and distributed on the internet through my RSS feed.
• A small ad may appear next to your request. This is a contextual ad and may well be about charity, but this is outside the control of this site (it's a standard application provided by my host).
• All new contributions to this site are screened before they appear. Requests that go against the rules or really conflict with the vision on my Donating to Kenya page, may be declined.

Again, Kenya-Advisor.com does not have the means to check whether Kenya help requests are legitimate. That is for the reader to decide. This site only gives the opportunity to publish these requests.
