Information about the Resiat tribe?

In an article about the explorer Sámuel Teleki I've read he got information in 1887 from the Resiat tribe about a great lake, that later is called Lake stefanie. However I cannot find any information about this tribe. Does this tribe exist or not, or has it changed his name?

Hi this is what the lake is called Lake Turkana
so the tribe is the Turkana People

Mart, I never heard of this tribe (which does not necessarily say a lot...) and if I google them, I only find the academic article that you probably also read...

So my guess is that they either are known by a different name or that they aren't seen as a seperate tribe (anymore).

But maybe somebody else knows more?
