by Karen
(Dublin, Ireland)

I've heard that there is s sleep n shower facility in Jomo Kenyatta, Intl for passengers in transit.

But I can't find details anywhere on how to reserve it.

Does anyone know more? Thanks!

Sleep & Shower
by: Archie Melrose

Karen,

Thanks for your mail and I had to smile as I just got back from Kenya and I can assure you there is NO sleep and shower facility at JKIA. Not unless you want to have a quick doze in arrival hall amongst mountains of bags and then step outside for a rain shower.

As far as I can gather the Kenyan government are working on having some kind of hotel facility at the airport but that will take a long long time.

But do not despair, if you have time to spare then visit this website and Bernd/Nancy may be able to help you and its only 20mins away from the airport. You will be amazed and happy and dont forget to put on the hot water switch next to the bathroom. We have stayed there and its wonderful and magical, 100 percent the best and much cheaper than city hotels.

B&B at JKA?
by: Arjen (webmaster)

I've never heard of them before... The quickest thing to do is to call the airport:
