How are wills probated in Kenya?

I'm wondering how wills work in Kenya. Specifically, if a US citizen dies in Kenya, what steps must be followed by named heirs to claim the inheritance? Who administers the release of funds?

I have included a link here for you to look at which gives lots of names of Probate firms in Nairobi. Some of them may not be applicable for Wills but I am sure they would point you in the right direction.

Your other alternative is to contact the US Embassy in Kenya as I am sure they have experience in dealing with the legalaties of US citizens who have passed away in Kenya.
