Hotels and clubs around Lake Naivasha?

by Rahab Wanjiku
(Nairobi)

I'm planning a weekend vacation in Lake Naivasha region - does anyone have any hotel tips?

I'm also celebrating my birthday with friends so any information regarding local clubs would also be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Naivasha

Rahab,

Thankyou for your mail and you nearly have me stuck. My fiance and I have tried many times to pick something at Naivasha for weekend or even one night but they are always way too expensive even for a 'mzungu' and always booked well in advance.

Can I suggest you contact Peris Mwangi at Premier Tours, Nakuru [07520243102] or office line [512217344] and speak to Grace [Secretary]. They may be able to help you. I am thinking about a place called SunHopa which is about 3 miles out of Nakuru next to Greenstead International School. It is ideal for partying with kidogo bar and an upstairs room which would be great for the dancing. We have stayed there and its great. If you want to go clubbing in Nakuru then there is a great choice and only 10minutes away by taxi.

Hope this helps

Archie
