Well, I took this to be an enquiry about employment but that might be because I am trying to get some more information on this myself.
Without knowing for sure exactly what the question relates to I won't go into too much detail but on the assumption it relates to employment; in my limited experience the key thing to remember is that there are generally far more people than there are jobs in Kenya.
The Kenyan government understandably prefer all vacancies to be filled by Kenyan nationals and in order for non-Kenyan to be appointed to a position there is normally a fair amount of formality involved.
A friend of mine "works" in the tourism industry, within the coastal region, for a hotel chain and in that organisation there are apparently full-time, contract and causal employees (although I am yet to understand exactly what the difference is between contract and casual).
As already stated, with a bit more info it should be possible to provide more specific information. If the question does indeed related to employment then I can share some further insight based on my friend's experiences (which unfortunately are a bit depressing for the likes of myself used to the comfort of UK employment law).
