Travel from Yemen by: Archie Melrose
I thank the rest of the moderators for their input and advice.
Ultimately it is the choice of the Kenyan Immigration authority regarding your entry visa however in UK attitudes have changed and I send to you this link which explains it all
I think it is probably easiest to get your visa at
the airport (presuming you're flying into Nairobi)

Visa at arrival or before travelling? by: Irene O.
I always check for my clients at the website of www.kenya-airways.com there is detailled information about who needs a visa before arriving and who can get it upon arrival.
Check this link: http://www.kenya-airways.com/home/information_and_services/plan_your_trip/travel_information/visa_information/default.aspx
But to be sure you should call the nearest Kenyan Embassy to confirm this information.
Have a nice journey and stay!

I just found a website that says that you would have to go to a Kenyan Embassy to apply for a visa. Here is the link to the site.

Visa by: Cassandra Maire
Hello,
I looked and found no Kenyan Embassy in Yemen so I would call the closest Kenyan Embassy and ask them what they recommend.
I have done both, before and upon arrival. I would say the fastest way is before you land. The process it simple and you do not have to fill out the paperwork in the airport...and that in itself is a big time saver. I would call the embassy in Washington D.C. and explain what information you are looking for. They can tell you as well as point you to a website to the online application. The D.C. number is: Tel: 202-387-6101
Fax: 202-462-3829
