Community library in Kenya, Kieni East constituency

Due to the ongoing war against ignorance, I am seeking donations to start a community library that will serve the residents of Mwea B and other neighbouring areas.
Students in this area have made efforts to cope with the problem of traveling to Laikipia district, a neighboring district, so as to access library materials and this has made them progress very slowly in their studies and for this reason we are now in the wake of establishing a community library to serve the various scholars in this area.
Ignorance has been the worst thing that has curtailed development in this area which even after all the 48 years of independence the area lags behind in aspects that directly affect the residents. The library would help create a common place where professionals in various fields such as farming and livestock rearing being the major economic activities in this area would hold forums to educate the community beside providing reference materials to our community members.
The estimated cost of this library would be $45,000 for its establishment. Professionals such as constructors and architects can donate through services such as planning and designing of this library as well as in terms of building materials.
A charity organization willing to assist may do so also.

About me: I am currently the district youth representative of Kieni East. Being a current student of Nairobi university I find education the best gift one can give to the populations in this world and thus agitate for the betterment of it.
The youths require education and thus this project will be a great gift to them. The older generation will not be left out because they will benefit from it being a common education forum in all areas. Development is the key that drives a country to success and it starts with education.
