Children playing in Kenya?

Hi, I am doing an assignment for a childcare course, one of the questions I am having trouble finding info on is that I have to discuss the beliefs about children playing in Kenya, i.e. are children allowed to play?

Yes, Kenyan children are allowed to play. There are many types of sports in Kenya football is very common among the boys, the girls prefer games like hopscotch, playing with dolls and 'kati' which is a local game where two people throw a soft ball with the aim of hitting another person who tries to duck their attempts to hit her. Hi Kerrianne,

Sure children in Kenya are allowed to play, they do play after school or even during their school breaks at the school compound.
Football, cricket, basketball, are some of the favorites, other games they will just make them up with the facilities they have lack of equipment.
Actually the kids in Kenya are not different from any other kid in the world. Hope your question is answered with this otherwise just ask again.

Yes, children are allowed to play.
Soccer is a favorite sport/game so are running contests or races, particularly since Kenya is famous for their long distance Olympic runners
