I waited and waited for the special deal and sure enought it came with KLM but let me tell you the stress it not worth it. Aberdeen [Scotland] to Nairobi was 400GBP return. I think thats not a bad fare and was happy with that. I had 5hour wait in Amsterdam on the way back which was ok as managed to relax and eat good food. Hope this helps

Flight tickets by: Irene O
August is high season. In most of the countries at least in Europe, July and August schools are closed for holidays so the best time for families to go for holiday. I would not wait to long to book your ticket cause the cheapest tickets will be sold first and you end up paying lots more for the same seat...
I would not risk a last minute to Kenya unless you try with a charter if there is any departing from your country.

Air fares to Kenya by: Arjen (webmaster)
Well, the basic rule is: as early as possible. And August isn't that far anymore... I sometimes book air tickets one year in advance.
Some people also wait until the very last moment, because an air seat is essentially worthless to an air company the moment the plane is airborne, so prices will drop days or hours before the flight.
I know people who pack their suitcase and go to the airport and then book a flight there. But the chance that YOUR destination is fully booked is considerable then, of course.
