We are a couple living in Langata area within Nairobi, Kenya.

We have had 4 miscarriages and resolved to adopt since we desire to bring up and take care of a child.

What are the procedures in case you adopt a baby girl?

Hi Judy,

We are a Kenyan couple with two kids and have chosen to adopt a baby Girl and have started the process which is not very complicated.Just visit Kenyan Adoption agency at St Barnados Children`s home on Langata Road opposite entrance to Wilson airport and the staff there will be of great assistance.

As you will see when you read it the NLHT have orphanages in Kenya and I have been in the one in Nakuru to deliver some well needed supplies.
Clive and Mary have been in Kenya many many years and have established these homes and yes there have been many successful adoptions of children.

My dear friends Guy and Susanna have just arrived in Nairobi this week to take up work in the Nairobi home. They successfully adopted 2 young Kenyan boys several years ago and after some time here in Scotland they have decided to move to Kenya with the boys on a permanent basis.

Please feel free to call them and arrange a visit and please let this website know how you get on. It would be a joy to all of us who contribute to this site that you have been successful.

Dear Judy, Iam very sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I know a couple who also had several miscarriages and even baby's borned alive and died after birth. I can not know how the pain is of loosing a child but can imaging how it could feel when I look at my children...

Never loose hope. Did you go to the hospital to get medical check why you had miscarriages? Iam not a doctor but there could be a reason why you get miscarriages.Streptococ could be the cause.

However to adopt a child is also a very good idea. In Kenya so many children are orphans. I actually am not sure about the procedure but I know it is possible to adopt a child. I guess you are kenyans then it is much easier then being a foreigner. Maybe you can visit an orphanage and find out or a adoption agency.
