Can I get a visa to Kenya from Accra, Ghana?

I am a Chilean citizen, tryiing to get a visa to Kenya, but I will be in Ghana as a volunteer for 3 months before going to Kenya, so the visa I could get here, which are good for 3 months from date of issue, will expire. I am starting a 6 nation safari in Nairobi, but am having alot of trouble getting visas or visa information as a chilean citizen. Help, please...

Further to my last reply it seems to be so hard to get information as you said.

Kenya does not have an embassy in Ghana which is a bit of a problem. It could be the case you may have to go back to Chile and start again.

Security is always paramount when it comes to individuals travelling and crossing borders of any country. I am sure you are aware of that and despite out best intentions, whether volunteers or tourists we have to consider our travel plans carefully.

I would suggest you contact the Ghanian immigration department on arrival and work from there.

Thanks for your question and yes its a hard one for our team as I am sure you realise.

Let me do some work on this and hopefully I can give you some advice very soon.
