And may I urge you to be very cautious when buying shares? I just read a long analysis in a Dutch newspaper that, in the Netherlands, over the last 100 years (!) shares on average had had a lower return on investment than bonds, and bonds aren't half as risky.
I don't know the Kenyan figures. But do study all of this in advance, and be careful. As a non-professional individual, it is very hard to beat the market (largely made up by professional / institutional traders). And that's what you have to do if you want to earn money at any stock exchange. Better start your own small business, then you have much more control over your own future (and you do things that other people actually benefit from) :-)
